Getting Started

Getting started at the San Diego Bujinkan begins with an open mind, a flexible body and a sincere desire to train your life. New Students should begin their training correctly by first having a positive mental attitude and secondly being prepared to train.

What To Expect
New students can expect a level of training that far exceeds the standard for Bujinkan training in America and around the world. We are one of the few Bujinkan Dojo's who's primary focus is the training. Training is at a pace similiar to the way it is taught in Japan to give students a more complete understanding of Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu.

Things You Need To Understand
One of the most important things a new student should understand prior to joining us is that this is not a show up anytime you feel like it sort of training. It's a one to one training relationship with the Shidoshi that begins the moment you contact him.

Training in the Bujinkan is not something that should be taken lightly, you are either ready for it or you are not. We accept most students as long as they are serious about training. The primary consideration is that you have a good heart and a sincere desire to learn.
