For Students Seeking An Authentic Transmission Of The Warrior Ways

At The San Diego Bujinkan Dojo, a students rank is not as important as who they become in the process. Licensing is awarded to dedicated students who can demonstrate not only the technique but also the kokoro behind the technique.

Japan licensing and Rank certification are awarded to active-members only and come directly from Japan. To be eligible for Japan licensing, a student will be required to train a minimum of one days per week. Membership is not official until after a new student completes the Student Indoctrination period.

An official Black Belt is awarded to dedicated students who have logged in 1000 hours of training, this is not difficult for students who are serious about training.

Students who can only attend one class per week may be given special consideration for ranking if they are highly dedicated and can demonstrate the necessary Taijutsu requirements.
