Train your life at San Diego's exclusive Bujinkan Member Dojo
Bujinkan Martial Arts is an eclectic blend of nine ancient warrior traditions dating back to ancient feudal Japan. These nine Ryu are taught collectively as one complete system known primarily as Bujinkan Budô Taijutsu.
The nine schools of the Bujinkan are deeply rooted throughout Japan's legendary Martial Arts history and considered by many to be a Martial Artist's last stop on the quest to finding an authentic Warrior Martial Arts discipline.
The Bujinkan “Spirit Warrior Dôjo” was founded by present day 34th Grandmaster Dr. Masaaki Hatsumi who inherited the nine schools from his teacher Toshitsugu Takamatsu (33rd Grandmaster).

— A Complete System Of Physical, Mental & Spiritual Development —
The Bujinkan is one of the few authentic warrior Martial Arts in the world today that cover a wide variety of principles that you won't find in other martial arts systems. As with any Martial Arts discipline, an historical perspective is necessary in order to build a good foundation in the physical training.
Some of the more physical aspects of our training include:
- Junan Taiso Yoga - body strengthening & flexibility skills
- Kamae Gata - body attitudes and postures
- Ukemi Taihenjutsu - breakfalls, tumbling & change skills
- Daken Taijutsu - precision striking, kicking & pressure points
- Jutaijutsu - grappling, throwing & joint lock manipulation
- Bugei Jûhappan (18 arts of the Ninja)
The San Diego Bujinkan Dojo continues to preserve the integrity of the "Nine schools of the Bujinkan" as well as of the teachings of the Bujinkan. All of our students are taught directly by a Japan licensed Instructor and are exposed to some of the highest principles taught by the Grandmaster.
